Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Horticulture Manager to oversee our horticultural operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general horticulture, plant care, and pest recognition and management. You will be responsible for planting and managing plant health, promoting sustainable practices, and leading a team dedicated to producing high-quality horticultural products.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the cultivation, care, and management of plants in our nursery  greenhouse setting in Kingston, NB
Develop and implement horticultural practices to enhance plant health and productivity.
Manage schedules, and operational plans for nursey.
Supervise and train staff on horticultural techniques and safety practices.
Monitor environmental conditions and make necessary adjustments to cultivate optimal growth conditions.
Maintain records related to plant health, care, and inventory.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field preferred.
Proven experience in horticultural management.
Strong knowledge of plant species, growth requirements, and pest management.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in operating horticultural tools and equipment.
Ability to work outdoors, planting and shipping product in various weather conditions.
