Our Moncton Corporate Office is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Corporate Controller.

Manages the corporate financial and accounting activities of the organization including providing analysis and counseling on accounting and financing activities.


Manages the preparation of corporate financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, reports to stakeholders, tax returns, and reports for governmental regulatory agencies.
Ensure the internal controls of financial reporting are adequate, functioning as intended including recommending and implementing improvements.
Develop and implement financial policies, ensuring compliance with financial and accounting standards.
Responsible for the development and preparation of quarterly income and cash forecasts providing analysis and recommendations to the Director of Finance and CFO.
In collaboration with the Operation Controller, manage the budget preparation process including performing financial and variance analysis.
Working with the Operational Controller, analyze budget results against actual results and suggest methods of improving the budget process.
Manages the annual audit process
Provides input with recruiting and employee development activities for the Accounting Department
Requirements and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting/Finance/Business discipline or equivalent experience required as well as a CPA designation.
10+ years’ experience in financial management
Knowledge of financial principles required for budgeting and strategic planning
Understands the integrated systems of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reporting
Project management experience
Knowledge of business systems and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
